Snowmobile Club Pingouins

The Club was founded in 1971 and has about 350 members. It rents the PPJ Cyclopark's trail from Wyman to Waltham which becomes the Trans-Québec 43 during the Winter time. The Club has created and grooms more than 600 km of snowmobile trails thanks its dynamic team of volunteers. To maintain the trails, 3 engines are used, a BR 160 and two Massey Fergusson, 4270 and 4370. From the Pingouin trail network, you can reach Maniwaki, Pembroke in Ontario, Rapides-des-Joachims and you can join the PSDA Club trail network of Shawville which will lead you to Aylmer.

Welcome to our Trails

The "club des Ours Blancs", the "club Pingouin" and the Pontiac Snowmobile Driver's Association would like to remind you of the following.

The right of ways are fragile. The clubs have had to sign agreement protocols with the MRC and certain municipalities in order to conserve the right of passage.

These agreements are based on the respect for others.
1. Speed of 30 km/h in residential areas
2. Respect and follow all signs (Speed limits, dangers etc)
3. Modified snowmobiles are not permitted or tolerated on Quebec's trails (tune pipes or any other modifications) Towing at owner's expense.
4. Curfew from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on former railroad corridors

Theses rights of ways are given to the snowmobile clubs under the condition that the snowmobilers uphold a proper behavior and these rights could be revoked at any time.
